Way-Too-Early 2025 Oscars Predictions

We make some blind guesses at who will be contending at next year's Academy Awards

Next year's Oscars are about one year away, but that's not stopping us from making some blind predictions for what will be contending at the 2025 Academy Awards. On this week’s podcast we combine two things we love: 1) Hyping up movies the world hasn't seen yet, and 2) competing against each other in a draft-based competition.

We picked 2024 movies and performances in six different categories that we are betting will be nominated and/or win next year. Correct guesses get one point for a nomination and three points for a win. In the wild card category, each nomination for that movie is worth 0.25 points. After the 2025 Oscars, we’ll tally up the points and see who won. Listen to the episode as we look into our Oscars crystal ball!
